Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service before you use or participate in any Digital Skills Labs Services.

Using or participating in Digital Skills Labs free or fee-based services you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

  • All dollar amounts listed are in CAD. HST is indicated where applicable.
  • A deposit of $500 plus HST is due when accepted to a course from our offering. The course registration fee of $250 plus HST included in the deposit amount is non-refundable. The remaining balance of the course cost is due two weeks before the course begins.
  • If for some reason you want to drop from a course, you'll receive a prorated refund based on the date you drop the course minus the registration fee of $250 plus HST.
  • Fees for paid workshops are due in full at the time of enrolment. If you are no longer able to attend a workshop, please email us at latest seven days before the workshop begins to receive a full refund. No refunds will be given after that date.
  • In the event we need to change the location or date of a course or workshop we will try our best to give you the maximum amount of advance notice possible. If you're unable to attend at the new location or date, you will receive a full credit of any prepaid fees for use towards a future course or you can request a full refund. Digital Skills Labs will not be liable for any other costs incurred due to a postponement of a course or workshop including travel charges or other consequential damages, even if we are advised of them at the time of postponement.
  • Students who miss a class are expected to catch up on the material covered during their absence outside of class time. We encourage those students to contact their course mentor if extra assistance with missed exercises is needed.
  • All Digital Skills Labs services are for persons above the age of 18. By using this site and Digital Skills Labs Services you warrant to be 18 years of age or over.
  • While at our location you may be photographed or surveyed and you consent to the use of your name, image, testimonial and likeness by Digital Skills Labs for marketing and promotional purposes associated with Digital Skills Labs Services in any format without any compensation or consideration unless we are notified otherwise in writing in advance of your use of Digital Skills Labs Services.
  • Digital Skills Labs reserves the full right to revise the Terms at any time, in whole or in part, by posting an updated version. Changes to the Terms will be effective when posted. It is your responsibility to visit this page periodically to review the most current Terms. If you object to any changes to the Terms your option will be to stop using Digital Skills Labs Services.
